1. Description

"EXTREPURE" brand PD113 is a weak acid cation exchange resin of acrylic acid. It
can be used for softening, dealkalization, deionization and chemical treatment. It is
ideal for high TDS water softening and some special applications such as organic
aqueous solution treatment and selective separation of heavy metal cations. It can
also be used for the separation and purification of biochemical and pharmaceutical
substances. PD113 has the unique high operation capability and high regeneration
efficiency of divalent cation. The resin is supplied in the form of hydrogen (H) or
sodium (Na).

PPD113 can be used to remove divalent cations associated with alkalinity. Operated as the primary cationic unit in a multi-bed desalination plant, this weakly acidic resin can be economically regenerated using the waste acid in the secondary cationic unit. PPD113 can be operated on sodium or hydrogen cycles from Ph values above 5 The hardness of the waste liquid to remove heavy metals operating in the form of sodium ions provides a neutral Ph of the wastewater, but requires two stages of regeneration
